Chris, Office Manager/Groomer
Beginning her career with Dakota Pet Hospital as a groomer in 1992, Chris now splits her time between grooming and managing the pet hospital.
She is particularly interested in working with animals that have behavioral issues such as anxiety or stress that may be associated with grooming and nail trims.
Chris enjoys traveling, horseback riding and home improvement projects as her hobbies. She shares her hobby farm with her husband, cat Lily and her Arabian horse.
Amy comes to us with over 30 years of grooming experience. She is a graduate of Horst/Aveda but soon discovered her scissoring skills were better applied to dogs rather than humans. Amy has shown many breeds of dogs all over the word. Her "Dante" schipperkes have won all over the world, most recently at the 2014 Westminster Dog Show (photo to the left). Amy would be happy to groom your dog(s), fluff dried and scissored cute! In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her dogs, horses and her husband John at their home in the country.
Individualized attention for your pet is the best part of boarding with us.
Nick, Kennel Manager
Nick's start with Dakota Pet Hospital began in 1995 when he was still just a student in high school. As he continued his education at the University of Minnesota, Nick continued to devote some of his time to our wonderful clients and their pets, which helped drive Nick into the pet-sitting business. "Nick's Pet Recess", where pet owners who travel or have long work hours during the day can find some fantastic care for their pet(s).
Christopher - Coming soon
Emma has been with us since 2014. She attends the University of Madison Wisconsin and is planning on majoring in Animal Science. She enjoys spending time with her friends and playing with her two dogs and one cat. She enjoys getting to know the clients at Dakota Pet and helping care for their animals.
My name is Raina and I've always loved animals and I love working with them! I enjoy taking my Jack Russell, Bo to the local dog parks and going horseback riding. I will be attending the University of Wisconsin-River Falls soon for my Animal Science degree. I can't wait to figure out where life takes me and what career I will have doing what I love! For now I enjoy my time caring for the animals at the clinic.
