Dr. Casey Rabbe, DVM
Dr. Casey Rabbe graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2014. She re-joined Dakota Pet Hospital after living in Iowa for 5 years where she worked in private practice and taught veterinary students at Iowa State University. She is very passionate about emergency and urgent care, surgery and dentistry.
Dr. Rabbe grew up on a farm in southern Minnesota, and enjoys riding and showing horses, camping, cooking and traveling. She lives in Lakeville with her husband, two daughters, Golden Retriever, and black cat.
Dr. Casey Rabbe previously worked with us at Dakota Pet Hospital 5 years ago and has recently returned to our practice. When Dr. Rabbe first came to our practice in 2015 she was a relatively new doctor and was eager to apply all her skills and talents. Her growth in just those 2 years with us was tremendous but she and her husband, also a practicing Veterinarian, relocated to Iowa to grow in their careers and build a family.
Since then she has returned to Lakeville and the amount of experience, knowledge and education she has brought back to our practice is wonderful! Casey's continued commitment to her education and to advancing her skills at every opportunity has shaped her into a highly skilled, confident and level-headed Veterinarian. She took the lead as our new Urgent Care Veterinarian and has enabled us to once again provide same-day services to clients and patients in need. She comes to work every day with a positive and warm attitude and is always ready to hit the floor running.
Dr. Casey Rabbe is patient and calm and exemplifies what it means to be a compassionate veterinarian. She is committed to the growth of those around her, always sees the potential in people, is incredibly hard-working, kind and understanding. She is an awesome teacher and is always willing to take the time to pass on her expertise. Not only is Casey an amazing vet but she is also a devoted mother and wife. We are excited to welcome back Dr. Rabbe and are proud to have her as a part of our Dakota Pet Hospital family!
