Dr. Kirsten Jagow, DVM

Dr. Jagow completed her undergraduate program through UW-River Falls and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2009. She joined our team in 2015 with a special interest in internal and preventative medicine. She is also a talented and efficient surgeon and veterinary dentist. Dr. Jagow enjoys spending time outdoors hiking with her dog, Ivy. Some of her favorite activities include kayaking, camping, downhill skiing, enjoying craft beer and attending music festivals.
Dr. Jagow is the true woodswoman of Dakota Pet Hospital. She will hike in conditions the average person wouldn’t even think of and winter doesn’t slow her down. She often takes her dog Ivy on hikes following even the busiest of shifts.

Kirsten is an incredibly talented surgeon and her speed combined with technique amazes our team! She can extract teeth during a dental with impressive precision that allows patients to have high quality care in the shortest possible time under anesthesia.

Dr. Jagow naturally works through her day with such a confident, calm and focused demeanor. She knows how to have fun and keep us laughing through out the day but is always focused and ready to take on each appointment with confidence and tenacity.

Dr. Jagow doesn’t let much get in the way of her success and continued efforts to expand her knowledge and skills but when the going gets tough we can all share a round of her home brewed mead! We adore Kirsten and she has been an incredibly valuable member of our Dakota Pet Hospital family!
