She also studied under the renowned Malena DeMartini Price to obtain her Certification in Separation Anxiety Training (CSAT). As a part time veterinary assistant, receptionist and dog trainer at Dakota Pet Hospital, Allison obtained her Fear Free certification to find a softer approach to veterinary care. For close to five years, she also volunteered with a local animal rescue, Ruff Start Rescue, where she found her calling: dog training. She teaches at our clinic and individually. Allison currently lives with two dogs, Auggie and Valentino and a very supportive partner, Michael. Through her science-based training methods, Allison has been able to make progress with her own K-9 boys and celebrates success daily. Her favorite part about training dogs is the fun that can be had during the process- for both the humans and the dogs alike.
