Jessica, hailing from the University of Wisconsin River Falls where she earned her B.S in Veterinary Technology. Jessica loves being a vet tech and meeting new clients and their pets. Her favorite parts of veterinary medicine are, performing anesthesia, working with geriatric patients and client education. She resides in Hastings with her husband, two cats named Roz and Budz and a some fish for the cats to admire! Jessica and her husband enjoy spending time together, traveling to other countries and experiencing different cultures.
Chris began her career with Dakota Pet Hospital as a groomer in 1992, she now splits her time between being the clinic administrator and one of our groomers . She is particularly interested in working with animals that have behavioral issues such as anxiety or stress that may be associated with grooming and nail trims. Chris enjoys traveling, horseback riding and home improvement projects as her hobbies. She shares her hobby farm with her husband, cat Lily and her Arabian horse.
Kris is a Certified Veterinary Technician and a life long resident of Lakeville-Burnsville area. Kris believes that animals make people better humans. Kris's current pets include two rescue cats, Emily and Sidney Crosby. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys cooking, reading and rowing.
For the past 17+ years, Sue has been helping to educate our clients on how to properly care for their pets by assisting them with building a strong relationship & bond between the owner and their pet. Sue lives with her husband, their 3 kids and 2 dogs named, Recon and Snyper, they think Sue is pretty cool to have around so they let her live with them and in the house, too! Plus, the dogs get to enjoy how active Sue is with them by being able to go for a run with her and they even let her sign them up for their sporting events, like agility and flyball, which they love!
Vicki joined our family in 2012 as a part-time technician. Her interests are focused on emergency, critical care and blood banking. Vicki lives with her husband,children, dogs, cats and a hodge podge of pocket pets & fish, who have been kind enough to share Vicki with us and everyone who walks through our doors! Vicki enjoys spending time with her human and animal family but she especially loves spoiling her granddaughter to pieces!
Stephanie joined our team in 2012. She has since received her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology at Argosy University. Stephanie loves the bond she has developed over the years with our clients and their pets. She also teaches our puppy/dog training classes that are held at the clinic. Stephanie was hands on while designing and building her 'Tiny House' and now she has her own 'Tiny House' to call home for herself, her daughter, their dog Clyde and 2 cats, Fiona and Jeff.
Dee graduated with associates degree from Globe University in 2017, the same year she joined our team. She lives in Goodhue with her pup named Mary-Jane. In her spare time Dee enjoys running, camping, reading a good book, seeing a movie or just hanging out with her friends and family. Dee takes great pride in her work and loves seeing our clients and their fur-babies.
Jamie received her degree as a Veterinary Technician from Argosy University in 2014 with additional training in massage therapy for small animals. She lives on a dairy farm with husband Andy and their two boys, 120 cows, 4 dogs, 2 cats, and a new addition to the family, Mogly the kitten. In her spare time Jamie enjoys being a ‘hockey mom’ and watching her boys play hockey along with their coach, aka Dad 9 months out of the year!
KelliCVT/Lead Surgical Technician
Kelli is a Certified Veterinary Technician and also our Lead Surgical Technician, who was born and raised in Rosemount. She received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls and her Associates of Veterinary Technology from Duluth Business University in 2015. She has a domestic shorthair named Simba and a golden retriever named Olaf. She loves spending time with her husband and daughter, camping, watching movies, and helping animals. She has been apart of our team since August 2017, and her passion for veterinary medicine shows with every patient.
Erin graduated from Argosy University in 2003 and has since worked at a few different clinics in the area before settling down and becoming a part of the Dakota Pet family in June of 2016. Erin and her husband Ron, reside in Burnsville with their dog, a boxer named Donny and their cats, Hune and H.I. Erin enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with her family and taking Donny, the boxer on many adventures. She takes pride in her work and loves to spoil her patients and enjoys her interactions with our clients.
Emily Graduated from Argosy University as a Vet Tech in June of 2018, although she has been part of the Dakota Pet family since 2016 as an assistant. She has enjoyed her hands on learning and getting to know all of our wonderful clients and patients. Emily resides in Lakeville with her 2 dogs. She absolutely loves going to the Renaissance Festival and playing Dungeons and Dragons. Emily also enjoys anything she can do outdoors with her dogs.
Terri is a 2008 graduate of Argosy University with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. She has spent many years working in small animal care clinics along with working at an Emergency Care Center. She has provided nursing care for critical patients for many years, which she finds to be very rewarding. Terri lives with her husband, their black lab named Molly, 3 cats; Tater, Nick and Fritz and a horse named Sierra. Terri enjoys spending time outside with her husband maintaining their 10 acre property. She also enjoys cooking and spending quality time with all her fur babies.
