What to Expect

Dakota Pet Hospital strongly encourages a physical exam at least once a year for cats and dogs. Annual exams help keep your pets happy and healthy from head to tail. An annual exam with a doctor will let you discuss things like, nutrition, behavior, vaccines and preventative care. If you are a first time client or even a current client getting a new pet, it's very helpful to bring any records you may have and let us know if your pet has any special needs, such as allergies, seizures, thyroid issues or anything else that you feel we should know.

what to Expect!

A yearly exam helps us maintain a doctor-patient relationship, along with keeping up to date records for your furry friends. We like to keep in contact with our clients and their pets in case things arise, such as changes in their weight, eating habits, activity level or anything else that you would consider abnormal for your pet.

Our focus on quality care is our top priority but in certain situations we may need to refer your pet to a specialist if needed. We want to make sure that your pet gets the absolute best care possible.

We can't wait to see you and your cats and/or dogs soon!
